Plan your day and meals so that you don't eat after 8pm.
Wake up earlier today to give yourself time to relax and stay committed to this for the rest of the challenge.
Only eat food which is plant-based today. Set a goal for how long you will stay plant-based and review when you reach this goal.
From today onwards, substitute all the foods you eat with refined sugars for something healthier.
Drink at least 10 glasses of water today
Today, whilst sitting check on your posture and adjust to sit with better posture.
Go to bed 1 hour earlier tonight and read a book you have wanted to read. No electronic devices
If you are craving a food today, reflect on what this food means to you and think about the times you like to eat it? What does it tell you about how you feel when you want it?
COLOUR MY PLATE
Make a meal today which has at least 5 different coloured vegetables and fruits.
Try a new fruit which you haven't tasted before. Choose it by colour. Share your experience with someone else and see if they like it also.
When you are walking today, chose a different path to the normal path you would get to work.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water today
Start your day with a gratitude meditation and hold this energy with your throughout the days when you see the world around you.
Reward yourself for something you have accomplished in the last week. Recognise your achievements so far.
If you have milk in your tea, coffee, etc, substitute it for a cashew, almond, or Mac milk today. If you like it continue, if not try something else.
Throughout your day today, stop and take 5 long, slow deep breaths
Watch a film about healthy eating and lifestyle. (Eg, Fork Over Knife, Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, etc)
Forgive yourself for something you have been regretful for and carrying around. It's time to move forward and leave the past behind.
If you have a step counter or a watch which counts steps, try break you weeks step record.
Make a plant-based dinner for yourself for under $5 without using pasta.
TAKE THE STAIRS
Instead of automatically going for the lift or the escalator, use the stairs today
Say something kind and from your heart to at least 3 people today
Start positive conversations today by asking 3 people what brings them the greatest joy in their lives.
Buy a piece of clothing today which makes you feel good about yourself when you wear it.
Don't eat any processed foods today, only whole foods.
Try a new vegetable today, raw or cooked.
Find a new recipe book today and commit yourself to at least 5 new experiments from it.
Check your fridge and pantry for food which you have been neglecting and not eating. Decide to use them in a recipe in the next week. Throw out any expired foods.
Have a green juice for breakfast today and have a light vegetarian lunch after 1pm.
Plan a menu for the next week and stick to it. Include breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Shop for it and look at where your weaknesses are in the next week. Plan ahead before shopping is savings.
